As Band Gap’s community continues to grow, so does the company’s commitment to sharing its work openly and accessibly. To make staying connected easier and more seamless, Band Gap is excited to roll out three new additions to its communications suite:

The Band Gap Monthly Newsletter is perfect for anyone looking for a curated digest of the latest news, field notes, and company updates. Instead of relying on social media algorithms to surface announcements, community members can now get the highlights delivered straight to their inboxes once a month. Sign up for the newsletter here.

To create a smoother experience across all platforms—particularly on social networks like Instagram—Band Gap has also launched a unified Links Page. This new hub conveniently compiles recent announcements, blog posts, and social profiles on a single page. (For those following along on Linktree, the official Band Gap Linktree now points directly to the new Links Page.)

Finally, for readers who prefer full control over their content feeds, RSS links are now available on our RSS feeds page which can be accessed from the footer of any page on the site, right next to our social media links. This addition ensures that RSS enthusiasts can catch new posts the moment they go live, right in their favorite local reader.

Reflecting on these updates, Dr. Jay Jay Billings, CEO and Principal Applied Scientist at Band Gap, stated:

“Part of our mission as a public benefit corporation is to ensure that our community is front and center in our communications, that they can always learn about and engage with our work. These additions come from community suggestions, and it is very exciting to act on such positive and creative input to more directly and efficiently get the word out.”

These updates are all about making it easier to share the journey ahead. Band Gap is always eager to hear from the community. Please share your thoughts on the new setup via the contact page, by emailing us at [email protected], or on any of our official social media channels!
